The Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES) has officially released the complete schedule for admission to various technical courses for the academic session 2025-26. This includes B.E./B.Tech, B.Pharmacy, B.Arch, and Diploma (Engg., Pharmacy, Lateral Entry) courses in government and private institutions across the state. All admissions will be conducted through centralized online counseling based on entrance tests like JEE Main, NATA, OCET and qualifying examination marks, depending on the course.
For B.Tech courses, admission will be offered on the basis of inter-se-merit of JEE Main 2025 scores. The entire registration, choice filling, and seat allotment process will be conducted online. Candidates must have a valid Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP ID), as all personal and category-related information will be automatically fetched from the PPP database and cannot be edited manually. It is essential that candidates ensure their PPP data is updated and verified. Counseling for TFW, EWS, HGST, KM, SC, BC, and other reserved categories will also be done online simultaneously with general category counseling.
For B.Arch courses, admission will be done on the basis of 50% weightage of NATA 2025 or any other valid COA-approved aptitude test and 50% marks in the qualifying exam. Candidates will be required to upload their NATA scorecards and all qualifying documents while registering online. The application fee is ₹1000 for General category and ₹700 for all reserved categories including girls, SC, ST, and EWS.
Admission to B.Pharmacy and Diploma in Pharmacy courses will be conducted through OCET 2025, a common entrance test organized by HSTES. The registration for OCET will start from 2 June 2025 and close on 30 June 2025. Admit cards will be issued from 4 July 2025, and the entrance test will be held between 7 July and 9 July 2025. The rank list will be declared on 16 July 2025, followed by counseling from 17 July onwards.
For Diploma Engineering (3-year course) and Diploma Engineering Lateral Entry (2nd year admission), the admission will be based on qualifying examination marks, i.e., merit-based. The registration process will be fully online and includes document uploading and choice filling. Seat allotment will be done through centralized counseling. Candidates are advised to read the information bulletin carefully and upload all required documents accurately to avoid disqualification.
There will be no offline forms or physical submission of applications for any course. All eligible candidates must complete the registration and document upload through the official HSTES admission portal. Once the merit list is declared, no separate result card will be provided—candidates will need to check their status directly from the portal using their login credentials.
The last date to withdraw admission with full fee refund is 11 August 2025, and the final admission cut-off date is 14 August 2025. Students must ensure physical reporting to the allotted institutes within the scheduled timeframe after seat allotment. If any candidate fails to report, the allotted seat will be cancelled automatically.
This admission schedule is applicable to all government universities and their departments, and 75% seats in self-financing private colleges across Haryana as per the guidelines issued by HSTES.
