Reliance Jio has made a bold move to tap into India’s fast-growing cloud gaming market by launching five new prepaid plans. These plans come with free access to JioGames Cloud, a cloud-based gaming service that lets users enjoy high-quality games on their smartphones, PCs, or Jio Set-Top Boxes without needing expensive hardware. This initiative is aimed at making console-like gaming accessible to everyone.
JioGames Cloud allows users to stream games online without downloading them. Normally, this service costs around ₹398 per month, but Jio is now offering it free with these prepaid plans. Currently, this offer is available only for prepaid customers, while postpaid and broadband users are excluded.
Among the new plans, the ₹48 plan targets users wanting to try cloud gaming for a short time, offering 10MB of data and three days of free JioGames Cloud access. The ₹98 plan also provides 10MB data but extends cloud gaming access to seven days. Both are data vouchers and require an active base plan to work.
For longer-term gamers, the ₹298 plan provides 3GB of high-speed data and 28 days of JioGames Cloud access, again dependent on an active base plan. The ₹495 plan is a comprehensive option, offering 1.5GB of daily data, 5GB bonus data, unlimited voice calls, and 100 SMS per day for 28 days. It also includes access to popular services like JioCinema (with Disney+ Hotstar Mobile), FanCode, JioTV, and Jio AICloud.
The most premium option, the ₹545 plan, increases daily data to 2GB, adds unlimited 5G data for eligible users, and includes all the benefits of the ₹495 plan.
With these plans, Jio’s goal is clear: to break down the barriers of cost and hardware so that anyone can enjoy high-quality gaming anywhere, anytime. There’s no need for costly gaming laptops or phones—just a Jio connection and free JioGames Cloud access.
All these plans can be activated easily through Jio’s official website or app. To enjoy the cloud gaming experience, users simply need to log in to jiogames.com.
